NATURE'S CORNER
On Friday Aug. 20 at 6:45 a.m., I received a phone call from a representative of Dana Mining concerning a problem in Dunkard Creek. The problem occurred when the discharge from Steele Shaft was reduced to comply with total dissolved solids (TDS) regulations. Dana Mining was concerned for the safety of the stream's quality.
